What is relining?

Relining is a well tried method where we apply several layers of a special corrosive-resistant plastic material to the inner walls of the existing object. This reinforced material dries to form a new, durable and safe pipe that has a life expectancy of at least 50 years. Tubus System performs relining in real estate (pipes), infrastructure (tubular pipes, drums, tubes and culverts) and oil separators with minimum disturbance for the user.

Four reasons to use relining with Tubus System

Quality

According to SITAC (Swedish Institute for Technical Approval in Construction) pipes renovated with Tubus System have an expected life time of at least 50 years and the customer gets a 10 year functional warranty. Every renovated pipe is inspected and video recorded as part of the project documentation that all customers receive at project completion.

1. Quality

Economy

When you use relining with Tubus System we install new pipes inside the old ones. This fact means that you avoid the cost of removing the old pipes.

2. Economy

Minimum disturbance

With traditional renovation of pipes and drums the rebuilding is a giant process. With our method the disturbance is minimized. For example the residents in a building that is renovated can stay in place throughout the work.

3. Minimum disturbance

Environment

Removing old pipes or drums results in large amounts of contaminated waste. With Tubus System, we renovate without impacting the environment in a negative way. That is what we call environmentally sustainable.
